Upper-level troughing will extend into the northwestern US, with a weak Pacific cold front moving into the Pacific Northwest tonight. Winds are expected to increase and overspread low relative humidity across the Four Corners states, with elevated fire weather conditions possible. Above normal temperatures will continue on much of the southern Plains through the southern Rockies into the Lower Mississippi Valley. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected along the western and central Gulf Coast through the Lower Mississippi, Tennessee, and Ohio Valleys and much of the Great Lakes. Warm and dry conditions will continue along and east of the central and southern Appalachians into the Deep South and central Gulf Coast. Breezy Cascade Gap winds into the Columbia Basin are likely, and isolated thunderstorms are possible in portions of the Idaho and Montana mountains. Showers and below normal temperatures will continue across much of Alaska.

There are no Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches issued currently. The Storm Prediction Center has issued no areas of fire weather concern.
